Martial Arts Background &Accomplishments ;Originally started learning Traditional Chinese MartialArts when 12 years old ,first learning the Choi Lee Fut style (蔡李佛)from Master Wong Ha(黄暇)and would also study Baji(八极)from Master Wong lk lng (王一央).Bruce would go on to study with MasterLiang shouyu(梁守渝)learning both traditional  &modem types of Wushu.Under MASTER Liang’s guidance Bruce would go onto qualifyfor the 1986 Canadian National Wushu Team and would take two bronze medals inNanguan(南拳) &SpearPlay (枪术)at the 1986 2ne lnternational WushuChampionships in Tianjin China Bruce moved to Hong Kong in 1988 Where he workedin numerous Action Movies including Jackie Chan’s Operation Condor(飞鹰)and many other HK films ,ln 1996Bruce returned to Canda & set up West Coast Chinese Martial Arts (西岸武术会)andalso worked in the local film industry in Vancouver as a Stunt Coordinator &Fight  Director,West Coast ChineseMartial Arts has become a leading Wushu club in Vancouver & continues to produce top level Wushu practitioners and has many regional &national level champions .One of his students Jack Tu(涂圣成)took part in the CCTV Show K-Star(功夫之星)and the Jackie chan Disciple’ TV Show (龙的传人).TheWest Coast club has made numerous training trips to China (Beijing & Shanghai)so it’s students can gain a real feel for Chinese Wushu.Brucehas also produced several Chinese Martial Arts competitions including thePacific Elite Chinese Martial Arts Championships for Youth & Teens (太平洋武术精英锦标赛)and the Pacific Elite Tai Chi & lnternal Arts Friendship Meet (太平洋太极精英交流大会)。Bruce has also written many Wushu articles for both the USMagazines;lnside Kungfu &Kungfu Tai Chi .Bruce has also producedseveral videos on Wushu & other Martial Arts.
