was born in Poland in 1969.The winner of several all-around championship titles, he has taken overthirty-four gold medals in national and international Wushu competitions inEurope and the United States.
At the age of twelve, he and two friendsformed a “martial arts fight club”, where they practiced fighting techniquesand strengthening their bodies, intensively training five to six hours everyday. From this practice, his personal evolution expanded to includeprofessional training in Karate Kyokushin. Two years later, he turned hisinterest and passion to Chinese martial arts, which has become his life-longpursuit.
Since then, it was his honor to study extensively with several prominentmasters in internal and external Wushu, Taiji and Qigong in Poland, NorthAmerica and China. Some of the primary masters with whom he has studied are thefollowing: Yang Jwingming (styles – Changquan, Baihequan, Qinna, Yang Style Taiji,and Qigong); Liang Shouyu (styles – Emei System, Wuji System, TraditionalWushu, Chen Style Taiji, Xingyi, Bagua, Qigong, Da Pong Qigong, Iron ShirtQigong, Shuaijiao and Weapons); and Ma Xianda (styles – Bajiquan, Piguaquan,Fanziquan, Chuojiao, and Tongbei weapons).
Mr. Latecki has been teaching Chinese martialarts since 1988. He was one of the first certified instructors in Europe andone of the first qualified to test and rank students, as well as instructors,in the International YMAA Training System. He immigrated to the United Statesin 1993, obtaining a working visa due to his martial arts skills. Currently heholds a 7th level black belt of the International Wushu Sanshoudao Association(IWSD).
Aversatile practitioner, teacher, and judge of national and internationaltournaments in both internal and external Wushu, he has been featured onPay-Per-View television and The Discovery Channel, as well as other TV showsand many instructional videotapes and books on Chinese martial arts.
In1998 Narcyz and his wife, Eva, founded their own martial arts center, CMA(Chinese Martial Arts) in Acton, Massachusetts. Over the past ten years, theLateckis have guided their students in achieving high honors in national andinternational competitions, scoring prominently in each of the top threecategories, including the title of Grand Champion.
