Mr. Jiang was born in Tongwei, Gansu Province in1967. At age 8 he began to practice Eight-Gate Boxing. At age 24 he began tostudy Taijiquan. He is good at Babuzhuan, Chen Style Taijiquan and traditionalhealth cultivation.
His pen name is Yu Qin. He loves Taoism culturevery much and has many such books on his shelves, such as Si Ku Quan Shu,Yongle Canon, Dao De Jing, Huang Ting Jing, Life Theme, Tai Chi Study …which is important part of his life.
In 2000 he worked for Shaolin and Tai Chimagazine. Guided and supported by the editor-in-chief, Mingnan Qiu, hecooperated with China People’s Sports Audio-Visual Publishing House, andGuangzhou Pretty Girl Culture Communication Company Limited to spend five years(from 2000 to March of2005)in photographing the TVteaching material “ChineseMartial Arts Display Works”which includes 1,260 hours of teaching programs.
Since April of 2005 until today, entrustedby Wushu Management Center of Chinese General Bureau of Sports, and with thegreat help of professor, Gewu Kang, executive secretary of Chinese WushuAssociation, he has participated in spending three years in covering 160,000kilometers and photographing 89 kinds of traditional folk boxing, and martialarts techniques of 538 masters, experts and representatives. These valuablematerials will be made into a monumental work A Collection of Chinese Wushu,which is unprecedented in history and will fill up the gap that Chinese WushuAssociation has not had a complete set of audio-visual materials on Chinesemartial arts techniques since its foundation. This will play a very importantrole in bring benefit to people, and leave future generation a valuablespiritual wealth!
