Mr. Zhang was born in Fuyang City, AnhuiProvince in 1951. He is national boxing referee of first grade; national seniorWushu master of first grade; Wushu 6th grade; international SanshouDao referee of third grade; Black Belt 7th grade. Now he is vicepresident of Fuyang City Yingzhou District Wushu Association.

At early age he was weak and frail, butnaturally active. Then he studied Wushu from Dongcai Zhang, who came from anaristocratic Wushu family, and once vice coach of Nanjing Military Region WushuTeam, and died in 1986 due to disease.

In the past years he has learned manykinds of boxing techniques, such as Chaquan, Hongquan, Shaolin Boxing, SouthernStyle Boxing, Bajiquan, Taijiquan, Eight-Diagram Boxing etc, and wrestling,catch and hole, free sparring, qigong and so on.

He has served as referee for city-leveland provincial boxing and Wushu competitions. In 2008 he was honored as one of “World-Famous Wushu Artists.”
