Hong Yongfeng ( Gansu)

Hong Yongfeng,born in Ning Xian, is an associate professor. He earned his Bachelor ofEngineering from Lanzhou University of Technology in 1989, and had beenstudying in the martial arts class in the university for a long time. In 2007at the pre-Olympics Martial Arts Competition in Gansu, he won the first prize. He also hasChinese Martial Arts Level 6 credentials. He mainly concerns himself with theinterdisciplinary research and teaching of Chinese martial arts, informationtechnology and material science. He has been responsible for 8 largecross-cutting projects, organized and participated in 5 provincial scientificresearch projects, published 4 treatises and textbooks and more than 20research papers. He is currently teaching the Chinese Martial Arts Culture inuniversity.

       Professor Hong, as a founder of theDisciplinary Structure of Martial Arts Culture and the sixth generationinheritor of Yang Taijiquan and Xingyiquan, has considerable expertise onChinese martial arts. He has been studying Changquan and cudgel under theinstruction of Prof. Li Chongshen and Prof. Luo Xianmo in Chinese Martial ArtsClass in Lanzhou University of Technology since 1985. Afterwards he studiedBoxing and Sanda from Ma Lingda and Gao jinglu, studied Yang Taijiquan andXingyiquan from Liu Jinshan, who is the student of Master Chu guiting, studiedYang Taijiquan from Fu Lunchang, who is the student of Master Shen Jigeng (whois the student of Master Tian Zhaoling). He also received instruction fromProf. Hao xinlian of the China Martial Arts Association as well as Master ShenJigeng. In recent years, he has won the first prizes several times inprovincial competitions, educated more than 500 students in martial arts, andorganized a series of research in martial arts. His main publications includeThe Secret of Taiji Yangsheng, The Art of Combat, Chinese Martial Arts Culture,etc. Considering his high ethical standard, diligent attitude, originality andcontribution to the promulgation of martial arts culture, he was awarded themedal of World Distinguished Master of Martial Arts.
