He was born in Yunyang, Chongqing in 1964.Director of National Wushu Sanshou Dao Association Coach Committee; presidentof USA Wu Chi Kung Fu Academy; head referee of 2006 USA International Kung FuCompetition; Sanshou Dao Black Belt 7th. Former head coach ofGuangdong Province Dongguan City Wushu Team, vice chairman of Dongguan CityWushu Association, and visiting coach of Dongguan Traffic Police Detachment.

From 1975 he followed Shouyu Liang, famousinternational Wushu master, for O-Mei Kung Fu; and in 1986 he began to followYuntai Xi, Jian Chen for modern Wushu. He is skilled in Xingyiquan, MantisStyle Boxing, Tongbei sword, catch and hold, quick wrestling hold, free handand weapons set for international Wushu competitions.

He has filmed movies （“Terrible Night”and “Senior Thief and Inspector”）and TV series（“Kendo Qingcheng Mountain”and “Anti-DrugPioneer”）

In 2001 he founded USA Wu Chi Kung Fu Academyin San Francisco and now has two branches and several disciples, some of whichare wonderful, such as Shengcheng Tu, who has become Cheng Long’s directdisciple and is possible to become the new-generation action movie star.
