He was born in Hong Kong, ancestral home in ShandongProvince. His original name is Gangsheng Chen, English name Jackie Chan. He issuper star and director of international action movie and the most outstandingChinese action movie star in Hollywood after Xiaolong Li. At age 6 he began his study in China Drama Academy forthe overall techniques: singing, tumbling, martial arts and acting. In 1971, hebegan to make a living in the film field. He acted in 23 films and made a name for himself in the filmDrunken Master in 1978. He won the prize for the film Police Story.
